Hi there, and welcome back to the blog of mine.
Over the last couple of years, I’ve mainly kept this blog somewhat formal and mainly to use as the information center for the Minecraft instances that I sometimes host and generally to talk about self hosting stuff. I’ve fallen pretty hard out of Minecraft for the last few months, so the blog has been somewhat dormant for a while.
To cut to the point, I’m likely going to start posting here as more of a general blog, where I share my thoughts and talk about things that might normally be saved for social media or videos. Social media spaces like Bluesky are nice for visibility, but the restriction on word count often leaves me to feel like I can not elaborate on my thoughts nearly enough for what I am trying to convey. Likewise, making videos is something I like doing, but have a hard time doing. It’s mainly down to myself having minimal editing work and occasional droughts in motivation on scripting, which often leads to videos being posted much later than intended, or rushed to a fault, especially for smaller scale subjects. I (probably) will start linking blog entries like this on social media spaces like Bluesky and YouTube posts.
That also means I’ll more likely have an increase in posts wholey unrelated to Minecraft, self hosting, or the like, with more posts talking about everything from LGBT stuff, furries, generalized gaming, and whatever is going on in my life. I apologize if that is not what you expect here, but it is my blog, so I get to make those posts. I will still obviously post blogs for any news when it comes to my self hosted MC stuff, but those are already rare, and again, I don’t have anything going on there right now.
I plan to make a post either later today or tomorrow expressing some personal frustrations around the lacking understanding from people around Dysphoria. So be sure to stay tuned. If you have an RSS client, you can always stay updated to this blog by adding https://blog.plushiemc.com/feed .
