Saved here are multiple modpacks that I have created over the years, with many being exported to CurseForge or Modrinth. Not all are good, some are unstable, and many of the older Custom series modpacks (1-3) are essentially the same modpack with updates. The modpacks are listed here in order of newest to oldest.
CUSTOM VANILLA
After the nonsense on CurseForge, I decided that vanilla packs should be in Modrinth, and maybe have main packs be Forge packs in the future. Not sure how to go about that just yet. Hence, though, Custom Vanilla is the home for all vanilla packs from 1.20.1 onward and will be so for the future too. Minecraft version will be listed in the file name, Fabric modloader. THESE ARE ONLY IN MODRINTHS MODPACK FILE TYPE.
CUSTOM SERIES CORE (CUSTOM VANILLA 1.19.4)
Here’s where I tried to upload Custom Vanilla Series to both CurseForge and Modrinth, but had issues. For one, CurseForge doesn’t allow “Vanilla” in a modpack title at all, so I had to be creative and call it the “Custom Series Core (lite)”. Second issue is that CurseForge also rejected something with updates to the modpack. Modrinth version is the more updated version, use that if you can. Idk if I will update this pack further or not. Minecraft version 1.19.4, Fabric modloader.
BINGBAMBOOM
Not to be confused as “Bing Bang Boom”, BBB was another pack built from the ground up for a group. Many of the mod choices, because of that, is not really my own. This was somewhat like FOTG without the storyline, and likewise, this pack isn’t exactly that well put together. Despite that, it has some good mods tossed in there if you are interested. Minecraft version 1.16.5. Forge modloader. Heavy pack. This pack is also the first with its own CurseForge page!
CUSTOM 1.18.1
Weirdly, despite having no Modrinth page for this pack, I have a MRPACK file for it. At the same time, there IS a CurseForge download on the Custom Series Archive, but I had to download that file from CurseForge to be able to mirror here. Wild. I don’t remember much with this pack, I think I started it and wanted to get somewhere with it, but dropped it due to life. Minecraft version 1.18.1, Fabric modloader.
CUSTOM VANILLA 1.17
Just an intermediate pack I had made. Nothing truly special here. Minecraft version 1.17, Fabric modloader. CurseForge Mirror at the Custom Series Archive.
CUSTOM 4
Unlike Custom 1-3, Custom 4 was a step into newer versions of Minecraft at the time. Unfortunately though, this kinda wasn’t a great time to do so. Unlike with 1.12.2 and before, there now was multiple modlaunchers available to choose from with the introduction of Fabric. Forge and Fabric both have their ups and downs, as I found out, but I wanted to try a split path system for Custom 4, where the Forge and Fabric versions would have some sort of “Mod parody” between each other. As in, any mods in one has to either be in the other, or a similar substitute. The Forge side was Custom 4GE (Get it? Forge. 4GE.) while the Fabric side was simply Custom Fabric. Vanilla compatible “lite” versions of these modpacks were also made, to use as bases for the main packs and to show the similarities and differences.
Custom 4 was a train wreck to keep up with, to be blunt. And I didn’t even have CurseForge pages for these, as all the files I have are now in the Custom Series Archive. Finding mods that either were on both modloaders, or had similar mods on both, was a near impossible task at the time outside of vanilla and UI. Likewise, I actually can’t find the original Custom Fabric, I only have the vanilla pack for that half. The main Fabric pack is lost to time.
Provided are the vanilla packs for both Forge and Fabric, the legacy 4GE pack (Not on CurseForge), and the CurseForge Edit of 4GE. Minecraft version 1.16.5. Forge modloader for 4GE Vanilla, 4GE Legacy, and 4GE CFE. Fabric modloader for Fabric Vanilla.
SEASON 1, DND PACK
While everything else has reason and explanation, I genuinely don’t remember these packs or where they came from. Minecraft version 1.16.5, Forge Modloader. Mirrored on CurseForge (Season) (DND).
FALL OF THE GODS
This pack. I was so proud of it and to this day, it’s still probably the highest effort one, even compared to many of the later ones. Fall of the Gods (or FOTG for short) started as an extension of Custom 3, using such as a base. Other mods were added depending on what I wanted and what the group who were supposed to play on the server wanted. This one had a lot of config edits and overall is a very beefy pack.
There is even some modpack lore that might be a bit difficult to really get. The original server this was hosted on had quests set up and parts of a planned storyline set up and ready for the players to explore down. In it, there was a god of technology and a god of magic, with my own Minecraft character being a Demigod who acted as the guide, quest giver, and translator for the gods. While this all was set up, not many players actually bothered to play. Given that plot never progressed far with the players, the world ended up trapped in a weird state of frozen progress story-wise. A third god was added (The Blood God) in response to demand, but no-one played after that temple was set up.
The planned direction was that over time, the tech and magic gods would end up fighting each other. Each player had to choose either one or the other at spawn, so it was intended to be like a server civil war. This war was supposed to be a ploy by the character I was playing, the demigod, to topple the top gods and become a god himself, only to be thwarted later down the line once the player’s sides both realize such and band together. I think it would’ve been cool at least. Instead of this though, the quests I did have set up feel like they were sorta wasted. Oh well. Maybe I could revisit this idea another day.
Provided is the Legacy version, which is mirrored on CurseForge in the Custom Series Archive. Minecraft 1.12.2. Forge Modloader.
While we are here, have the original server if you want! It’s also mirrored on CurseForge and should work with the provided version of FOTG.
CUSTOM 1, CUSTOM 2, CUSTOM 3
The true start to my tinkering. This is the pack that truely started it all for me, being the first to actually use the Twitch launcher (Rest In Peace) to put together, rather than throwing them together haphazardly. Now I was throwing them together haphazardly in an easier way!
Provided for each will be a “Legacy” version and a “CurseForge Edit”, with Custom 3 only having the Legacy version since it matches what is on CurseForge Custom Series Archive. Custom 1. Custom 2. Custom 3. Minecraft version 1.12.2. Forge modloader.
CRASHCRAFT
This was one of my earliest modpacks, and actually was tossed together initially as just a bunch of mods packaged together. Provided for you are an older zip and the version on CurseForge in the Custom Series Archive. Minecraft version 1.7.10, Forge modloader.
